Objectives: Caudal epidural steroid injection (CESI) is used frequently in the treatment of patients with chronic lumbar pain and leg. Obesity is one of the main reasons of lumbar pain. In this study of ours we tried to assess the effects of CESI on patients with normal weight, over weight and obese suffering from lumbar pain. Design: Retrospective Study. Settings: DiyarbakÃ?±r Selahaddin Eyyübi State Hospital. Subjects and methods: Our study is conducted on 300 patients to assess the effects of CESI on whom lumbar and leg pain persisted for three months between January 2015-December 2016.
